Join us for an incredible journey into the world of technology with PlayToCode’s Future Coders! This exciting weekly event invites students to engage with innovative pilot programs and hands-on activities that inspire creativity and curiosity. Participants will dive into the fundamentals of VR, coding games, and app development, gaining essential skills for the world of tomorrow. These sessions are perfect for anyone curious about coding and eager to try new things!

Future Coders offers two sessions every Monday night to accommodate students at different skill levels:

• Level 1 & 2 Session (recommended for Ages 7-9): 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM
  This session is tailored for beginners. Activities include:
  • Block coding with Scratch to introduce programming concepts.
  • VR/AR basics, offering a glimpse into immersive technologies.
  • Introduction to robotics, sparking creativity with simple robotics projects.
  • Basics of Minecraft and code development, exploring game creation and design.
• Level 2 & 3 Session (recommended for Ages 10-12+): 5:45 PM – 7:00 PM
  Designed for intermediate learners, this session dives deeper into:
  • AR/VR basics and game design, expanding on virtual and augmented reality concepts.
  • Advanced robotics, exploring more complex builds and applications.
  • Innovative approaches to Minecraft, learning new ways to think about game mechanics and design.
